In this study, cellulose nanofibers were obtained from wood pulp using a chemomechanical method and thin films were made of these cellulose nanofibers. The morphology of the films was studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). SEM image analysis revealed that the films were composed of cellulose nanofibers with an average diameter of around 32 nm.

ThinFilm Thickness Measurement and More. In just one click, we measure thinfilm thickness by analyzing how the film reflects light. By measuring light not visible to the human eye, films as thin as 1nm and as thick as 3mm can be measured. And, because there are no moving parts, results are available in seconds: film thickness, color ...
Profilometry is a technique used to extract topographical data from a surface. This can be a single point, a line scan or even a full threedimensional scan. The purpose of profilometry is to get surface morphology, step heights and surface roughness. This can be done using a physical probe or by using light. Optical Profilometry Introduction.
TEM Sample Preparation with XTEMprep Preparation Kit. For study of interfaces (such as semiconductor devices, thin film layers, etc.) by transmission electron microscope (TEM) it is critical to use TEM samples of ultimate quality (perfectly embedded, mechanically pretreated and ion milled ones).
